Rockcliffe has many projects of different types running on a regular basis. Some of these projects require volunteers for a specific duration (e.g. video post-production) whereas some are ad-hoc (e.g. content contributors), and others are ongoing (e.g. social media moderators). While many of these roles are not service leadership roles, each counts towards service to our community as they contribute significantly to the collection of materials available for our members and the public.
The following service positions are available to both Rockcliffe Professional Members and Community Members. Use the contact us form to inquire.
Social Media Moderators
Social media is the backbone of all communication in the modern digital age. While face-to-face communications and relationship building is still the most effect means of communications, social media provides a rich background of information to augment those interactions. Social media however is only as good as the quality of the materials available submitted. This requires volunteers with a critical eye towards what is appropriate for the membership. Social media moderators are people for whom the membership has a great deal of trust in managing and maintaining a positive collaborative environment.Â
Video and Broadcast
Rockcliffe manages a collection of over 300 hours of video and audio recorded from various programs and conferences produced by Rockcliffe and our members. Each of these videos requires both audio and visual pre-production, production, and post-production work in order to provide quality materials for our membership and the general public. This involves working with tools for video editing such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or other similar type programs;Â broadcasting direct to Twitch, YouTube, or LiveStream; and in general managing the video and broadcast assets.Â
