Non-Discrimination Policy

This non-discrimination policy applies to all Rockcliffe employees, volunteers, members, clients, students, and contractors.

Our non-discrimination policy clearly states our goal of an inclusive and non-discriminatory work environment in which all employees and volunteers are valued and empowered to succeed. It is each Rockcliffe stakeholder’s responsibility to understand the values and approach of our organization in detail and to comply with a code of behavior that respects, nurtures, and advances such values and approaches.

Equal Opportunity for All
All employees, volunteers, members, clients, students, and contractors should be treated with dignity and respect. Qualified applicants are considered for employment, educational admissions, and volunteering positions, and are not discriminated against with regard to race, color, national origin, citizenship status, creed, religion, religious affiliation, age, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.
Rockcliffe promotes the belief that a globally inclusive community helps the organization realize its full potential.

Grievance Procedures
All employees, volunteers, and students are encouraged to mention any type of complaints regarding violations of the non-discrimination policy with the Rockcliffe Ombudsman. We will then inform you with the action taken if applicable.

Disability
Rockcliffe does not discriminate against people with disabilities as long as the individual is qualified to perform the job.

Harassment-Free-Workplace
Rockcliffe also has a harassment-free workplace and volunteer location policy, which prohibits sexual harassment, as well as any other form of harassment. Rockcliffe management will take reasonable steps necessary to prevent sexual harassment from occurring. Harassment of any kind leading towards a poisoned working environment will not be tolerated and will be acted upon to the fullest extent reasonably possible.
